The symbol next to the "800" is the laureate head of Apollo that you find on the Corinth Stater coin of Greece circa 300 BC ::: It might be a reflection, but is there an image inside the second "0" in the number "800"? Maybe that is just a reflection of some sort ::: Anyway, maybe this has something to do with Greece or perhaps this was made in the Corinth region of Greece? That is all I have to offer, and I know that coin very well in all its different forms.

We really do not discuss value, and I am not sure an appraiser would know of this hallmark since it is quite obscure. I still am thinking Greece, and often there were silver objects made for the grand tour of Europe which extended from Italy into Greece. American tourists circa 1900 would take back silver objects in their steamer trunks and it would thus wind up in America.

I have another thought...

The repousse decoration is very much in the Dutch style and the figurehead mark could be the Minerva of post 1905. I also see the letter C in the cap which corresponds with The Hague.

Unfortunately above the letter C could be the letter R (it is unclear) which if there, would throw the whole idea out the window. Also, the 800 does not correspond with silver originating from The Netherlands but could have been added in the retailing country if this was an export piece.

As the Dutch are notorious for hiding their hallmarks within the decoration, can you carefully go over the vases with a magnifying glass and look for any other marks. eg Lion passant, date letter and sword for export.

I agree with Peter again.

There's something graphically not correct, there is also the word "Crest".
And why a picture of your PC screen, if you already have a picture ??
There is something strange in the picture.

I took the picture of a picture in an effort to enlarge the marks. I will repost pictures soon.

In the helmet, there is an R over C that can be seen.

It`s more likely P over C (imperfection in silver rather than the descending stroke of letter R).

No, the word is "Crest" (English) as I mentioned earlier, and that is not typically written greek word
The word Crest is related to the difference (Apollo) in coins display Google: Corinth Stater coin of Greece

The specific Corinth stater is the one known as "fine style" with the helmet face-shield raised above the actual face of Apollo ::: I did at first suspect Dutch, and if there were no hallmarks whatsoever, I would have theorized The Netherlands, it does look like traditional Dutch scenes of village life ::: Somehow it should have some connection to Greece, I still believe this but it will take more research to come to a conclusion :::

These are big floor-vases of some sort? How big are they? These are the largest silver vases I have ever seen.

They measure 24" tall, 4 1/2" base 3 1/2" opening. Could definitely be a P over C.
