Please Help Identify - Exeter? Thanks!

This bracelet tests for .925. Having problems deciphering the hallmarks. Lion Passant is fairly clear. Is that a castle symbol in an arched cartouche for Exeter, a thistle or castle for Edinburgh? Date letter "K". Maker mark left side is blotted out, but perhaps a "C" followed by the "H" in the cartouche. Many thanks!

Hi Jayne,

Welcome to the Forum.

You are far more likely to get responses if you embed your images as very few people will click on thumbnails or links.

Hi Jayne,

I tried to embed your photos for all to see but unfortunately was unsuccessful.

Your bracelet was assayed in Chester and the date letter K is for 1893. It's not possible to read all of the makers mark and so a positive attribution is not possible but from the last letter H and the style and year, I would put Charles Horner as a very likely candidate.

Cheers,
Steve

Hi,
Have embedded your images.
Looks like Chester assay office. Date latter K for 1893 rotated for 90 degrees. Two different backgrounds for Chester were used at the time.
The first letter of the maker`s initials is either ``C`` or `` G``, there are three letters, the last being ``H``. Would take a long time to search every initial for possible candidates.
