I was told this is 20th century Italian silver object, but I can't find any marks of silver assay or maker, do anybody know more about this piece of art work? Thanks!

Hi,
Is the moon shell made of silver?
The position of putti figurines is rather unusual; could it be a part of something else?
Partial enameling and use of garnet bunch of grapes (amethysts) is very reminiscent of Vienna enameling end 19th century. Detail from Vienna mantle clock attached.
Really careful inspection of the entire piece is needed, possible remnants of attachments in limbs and elsewhere.

Thanks for all the tips and advices! Really appreciated! That little dent does seem to be a mark but I need to examine under microscope it's really hard to see anything. The shell is made of real shell not silver. I will spend more time inspect the details and report back with my finding.
