Hi,
The maker's mark DV2 for: D.A.L.M Venrooij, registered in the cities; Rosmalen, Hintham and 's-Hertogenbosch in the province of North Brabant, in the south of the Netherlands. This particular mark used 1940-1949, out of business in 1981.
For the sword mark see;

Peter - You've made my day! Thank You! I am big fan of Your's works I've read here on the forum.
I would like to ask - If it's not a secret , is there any book with the information about Dutch maker's marks?

Regards,
armian
