I had time to take some pics so I now have some Russian items to ask for help with. Is there a better name than simply "cup"? What was it used for, when, who, etc. Here's the first cup:

Hello again,
The same as beakers elsewhere.Often wrongly described as ``Bar Mitzvah Kiddush Cup`` unless engraved in Hebrew.

I assume the cup is about 5-6cm high. It is an ordinary Russian vodka cup called "СТОПКА" (stopka). Made in Moscow 1880. Look for maker's mark. It should be somewhere. Usually on the bottom.
