I have a nice silver cutlery set with these two hallmarks. Who might be the maker? Are they .800 silver?

THANKS

Hi Niceguy1.

The shape of the cartouche containing the Diana head indicates the silver content. In this case the cartouche is the five lobed cinquefoil which represents 800 fineness silver. It also has the tiny number 3 within the cinquefoil which also stands for 800 grade. As a side point, the tiny letter A represents Vienna as the place of assay.

I'm not familiar with the makers mark(4 leaf clover?), but there are several forum members who are experts in this area and may be able to help.

Cheers,
Steve

I have now found that this hallmark is from Alexander Sturm, is that correct? What is the pattern called?
