Christofle Silver? Knives

Thank you in advance for any help identifying the knives! What an awesome forum and resource. Thank you for allowing me to join.
I have three sets of misc silver (I was told it is not plate, but am reasonable skeptical), I am posting each of the sets separately, in hopes of gathering more information.
The first is a set of six knives are marked Christofle with an illegible mark under the name. The largest knives are almost 13" long, and the others are almost 11". Blades in rough shape but still surprisingly sharp. Is it possible to confirm that they are indeed sterling or plate, and any idea as to pattern and age? Also, what is the use of the large knives? Carving?
Again, thank you, thank you!

Hi,
It looks like the Christofle Maison Desclercs-Gombault mark for silver-plating. I see rod of Hermes rather than scales and there should be letters ‘’D’’ and ‘’L’’ on each side.
Anyway, knives are silver plated, not silver.
Regards
