Trumpet vase with stamped mark

Would someone please cast an eye over this vase, please?

A little over 16cm tall, raised decoration of flowers, foliage and birds against a stippled background and a single shield. Partially obscured impressed mark which looks like WS with an adjoining Oriental character shaped like a K. I'm assuming that it is silver as one of the jewellery / silver dealers saw me buy it at a boot sale, had a quick check with his eye glass and was quite keen for me to name a price!

Looks to be Woshing, Shanghai, 1870s to 1910. Chinese export silver. Nice piece.

Thank you very much, MS. I would have never found that. The decoration is typical of the style which you often see on Staffordshire pottery from the 1870s to 1890s so would fit in with it being an export piece.
