Sterling silver relief - hand made? Techniques used?

I am wondering how this relief was done and if it is something done by hand or rather machine? It is marked "Sterling" so I assume it was made in the late XX century. The size of it is 16,5 x 12,5 cm. I like the scene which is quite detailed. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Most likely cast, possibly some fine details added by chasing. Can't be certain without seeing the back under that material.

Not many silversmiths can do this today by hand embossing.
The fabric on the back is not something to be kept as an original framing. It does need re-framing and inspect the back of silver. Casting will show completely different from embossing. If you want to do it, show us. Again, look how the fabric was cut - that`s not original framing.

Thank you for your thoughts. Yes, the back does not look original.
If this would be casting this would be heavier than a hand made thin silver plate.
