Karl Albrecht is famous for his excellent cigarette cases in enamel and silver - here some from my collection.

Actually his name was Karl Julius Albrecht but he "russificated" it to Kirill Fyodorovich Albrecht. Albrecht was born 1836 and became merchant of 2nd order in 1877. He had a shop on Bolshaya Morskaja 17. in St. Petersburg selling silver, gold an bronze wares. He was appointed to the Court's supplier in late 19th century. He married a Finnish woman, Sophia Montonen. He was still active in 1908.
