I ask for help in determining the manufacturer and the approximate date for the production of the gold ring.

Can someone tell me where to find: « Alphabetical Listing of Goldenplate Manufacturers by Makers Name »

Your ring was assayed in Birmingham in 1975. The crown and ".375" shows that it is 9 carat gold. I do not know who the maker, WHG, is as there are unfortunately no comprehensive published records for 20th century Birmingham gold and silversmiths.
