JJA / Barker Brothers Fork

Hi All,
I have a fork that is stamped with A in a diamond, EP, then what looks like the Barker Brothers' mark (clover with 3 stars), NS and the initials JJA (the A is beneath the J's) rather than BBB.
Does anyone have any idea of age / who it was actually made by (I inherited it and a Joseph Ridge & Co fork which I believe dates from the late 19th Century)?
Thanks for your help!

And the right way up (apologies again - I couldn't find a way to edit the upside down image... I promise I'll do better in future)! :)
