Can anyone help me identify this hallmark? It appears to be a "L" in a triangle.

Also, please share if you know anything about what kind of fork it is or its age.

It is approximately 6 5/8" long and 26 grams (it's hollow, not solid). Marked "sterling" , "1222" , and with the hallmark.




Any help is appreciated.

Do you know what it was intended to serve? I haven't seen a fork quite like it before.

The handle is at a slight angle, like a flipping spatula.

It's a bread fork...
