I have been trying to figure out the hallmark for this silver cigarette box and have been unable to decipher the maker. I would appreciate any help identifying the Russian silversmith. Thank you.

Hi,
The maker is Alexander Alexeev Muhin, Moscow.
(Александр Алексеев Мухин)

PL 2208 and 2209
There are cigarette cases by Muhin with similar flower enameled decor.

The hallmark (И·К 1879) belongs to the assayer Ivan Konstantinov, active in Moscow 1874-1883
