Unidentified makers mark I.D over T.N

Hi, can anyone tell me who the maker is of this large 1818, London silver gilt snuff box. The maker is I.D over T.N in a square cartouche. Thank you

This is the mark of James Davies & Thomas Northwood who registered this mark 10 Sep 1818 as goldworkers.

Just noticed that the registration was almost exactly 200 years ago - out by only one day!

I found this in the London Gazette on the disolution of Davies and Northwood partnership. It looks like they were jewellers who lasted just 10 years. I think there is a chance the “medal” fitted to the lid of the box is earlier in date and solid gold.
