Hello,
I have a spoon that I know is marked Minerva1, but there are some initials on the bottom of the spoon I am unable to identify. It looks like the letters, A, P, V. Any info on those initials or spoon itself is greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much

Welcome to the forum! Thanks for showing nice, clear pictures.
You have correctly identified that your spoon was made in France of 950 standard silver between 1838-1972, as indicated by the Minerva head in an octagonal reserve. From the style of the spoon and the engraving, I’d say it was made about 1870’s.
You don’t show a maker’s mark, which should be stamped in a lozenge-shaped reserve. If you could find that mark, someone might be able to identify the maker.
The engraved initials on the back of the handle are a personalization (monogram) indicating the name of the owner, whose last name began with P.
You don’t give the length of your spoon, so it is difficult to say precisely what kind of spoon it is. The shape of the bowl and the fact that it is gilt suggest a spoon for eating soft-boiled eggs.
