Hello,

I have spent some time trying to identify this piece and could use your help.

This is a handmade tea set which looks to be of german origin though no Moon Crown are on any of the pieces.

The mark is similar to that of: Gebrüder Dingeldein, Hanau, though it is different makers letters of course. This leads me to believe it is a Hanau manufacturer, but again there is no typical German Moon Crown marking.

To make things possibly even more difficult the cream & sugar is marked M.K. - They appear to be part of the set and not just matched to the rest.

The other pieces only have the sterling silver, 925 and handarbiet markings, but no makers marks like the teapot and sugar.

Can anyone help me identify these markings. You help is appreciated

Hello, the circle with ' WH H ' is for Wilhelm Hofmann from Hanau, Germany. Active since the 1930ies. Don't know what the 'M.K' stands for. Best wishes, Bahner

Thanks for the info, its very appreciated!

Any idea why there is no moon / crown marks on any of the pieces? I thought it was mandatory after 1888?
