Pseudo or not?

Silver teapot with marks on base. 6 petal flower or berries, Roman numerals IV, letter Z, possibly rampant lion with crown. Modern Dutch silver purity mark Z1 ( small mark below IV).

Hi,
Your image of marks twice, once rotated.
After careful consideration, looking at the weak unclear town mark with dots, the town mark of Haarlem springs to mind, being a sword flanked by two stars under a cross and crown. The (unclear)provincial standard mark for Holland, being a lion rampant under a crown and the year letter Z for Haarlem 1734. The maker's mark
ɪV could be for Jan Verdoes, registered in Haarlem 1734-1768 a known maker of teapots, tea caddies and brandy bowls. Right corner image
Tremolirstich (zig-zag line) made by assayer to determine silver standard (934/1000)
Haarlem town mark and province standard mark 1734-1735
The marks of Jan Verdoes.
NB his mark can also be encountered as a falsification.
Haarlem year letter Z for 1734 1st & 2nd standard with town mark uncrowned
The marks on a silver tea caddy attributed to Jan Verdoes;
It appears the same worn/damaged town mark punch used.

Thank you peter. The image of the tea caddy you provided has identical marks with mine. I found it strange that the marks looked worn even though they wouldn't get polished or touched. I guess they were struck badly? what do you think?

To me the teapot looks authentic. Herewith a silver bachelor's teapot by Jan Verdoes Haarlem 1742, height 11,8 cm.
IVD conjoined Jan Verdoes, Haarlem 1742
The style and date of your teapot are contemporary
