Hello, everyone!

I have been trying to identify the mark on this pendant, but have kept running into dead ends. I purchased the pendant here in France, so I assume it's European, but I think perhaps from northern Europe rather than France. I'm also wondering about the period when it might have been made. I first thought 70's, but the more I look at it, the more I see mid-century Scandanavian design. Or maybe I just have an overactive imagination!

Please note that the stone is much lighter than it appears in the photo. I am pretty sure it is rose quartz, in fact.

It was made in Germany by a maker by the name of Toni Rijk,she is/was German/Baltic working in Ludwigsburg. It seems that it is slightly earlier than the 70´s, I would say the mid century.
Here is a picture from a book containing that type of jewellery,with the same mark.

Hello, I agree that the designer is Toni Riik (born Dorpat 1891, died Winnenden 1972. Opened her workshop in Ludwigsburg in 1930). She designed a whole line of jewellery, based on the circles and spirals as can be found in classical northern European ornamentation. So the Scandinavian touch was intended. She called it 'Rungholt Schmuck'. But in this case she is not the maker. Her mark as published in the 1930ies and 1940ies is different. In 1939 she gave the production rights for 'Rungholt jewellery' to goldsmith Adolf Regelmann from Stuttgart. He continued to produce it well into the 1960ies. His mark has not been documented (at last not to my knowledge) but I bet the mark on this piece is his. As the use of Sterling was comparatively uncommon in Germany before 1945, I believe that this piece was made by Regelmann in the 1950ies or 1960ies after a design by Riik . Best wishes, Bahner
