Hi Everyone,
Not sure if anyone can help with this one, I have a frog with unusual hallmarks, I am not sure of the metal but hope that someone could help identify it. It has a Far Eastern feel to it but it could come from anywhere
Thanks
Richard
Frog With Hallmarks
Re: Frog With Hallmarks
Hi Richard,
It was just a thought, due to the hexagonal cartouche and the ant-like mark:
However, I don't think it's a good one.
The mark on the left is that of Pasgorcy of Madrid:

Maybe a route for further research though?

Maybe replicating Northwest Native American? Even before WWII, Japan was already supplying curios sold in the tourist trade (Canadian/SE Alaskan coastal ships). "B" as a designator for bronze? Or "Brass" trade related?
