Journeyman’s mark?

Hi, this is my first post.
Would the ‘+’ mark at the end of the series of marks be a journeyman’s mark? I can’t find a similar mark on Charles Boyton flatware images. From what I’ve seen journeyman’s marks are usually quite subtle and understated. This one is quite heavily stamped so perhaps it denotes something else. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Yes, indeed that is a journeyman's mark, sometimes referred to as a tally mark.
