I can't seem to find anything on the maker anywhere in my research. Weld & Bro mark then there is H&S. "H" in a circle, "&" is in a horizontal diamond shape, "S" in is a circle. There is then another symbol I cannot make out after H&S. I have a poor photo to go by. I purchased a lot of 5 spoons on eBay and have yet to receive them, so I cannot supply a better photo. I bought them for below the melt price so I figured they were worth a shot not even knowing the maker. Thanks for any help!

I'd say this person is not going to embed the images, so I'll give an answer to what might be the most difficult part of the question, and they can have the rest of the answer if they ever change their mind. William Henry and Willard Homer Weld were jewelers and jewelry manufacturers in Lockport, New York in the third quarter of the nineteenth century. They look like a pretty good fit.

Thanks so much for your reply. I got busy and forgot to check back here. I literally cannot figure out how to edit my posts here. I'm not sure why but the format of these boards is confusing me. Would you mind telling me how I can edit? Thanks again.

There is no edit capability for most. Just do a reply to add embedded images.

The maker is Hotchkiss & Schreuder, Weld is the retailer.

AH! That explains why I cannot find that option. I wonder why there is no built in edit option? Thanks for the heads up.
