Hello
I wanted to know if anyone can help me to identify this silver mark that looks like an eagle,
What do you think about it ? , it is a fairly big mark and very worn.

Thank you very much

Looks like a Dutch Pseudo mark meant to look 18th century but dating from around 1880-1920. The other mark is styled after the Amsterdam City mark which would not be paired with a mark like this. It might help if you could post a picture of the entire item to be sure but that eagle mark looks like a fantasy mark to me and the Amsterdam mark was frequently faked.

Yes, I also believe it to be pseudo or fantasy marks. The double headed eagle pseudo town mark city of Middelburg. Mentioned by K. A Citroen in his book Valse Zilvermerken in Nederland # 594 and seen on water kettles made in Groningen late 19th- early 20th century.
Are there no other small marks on this item?

Peter.
