Is it possible to show the maker's mark more clearly? I have some JC marks in a book but can't be sure which one it is without a clearer photo.

The mark in my book 'The Silversmiths of Birmingham and their Marks:1750-1980' that appears to match yours is that of Jos. Carnell, registered February 1828.
