Gothic/Olde English letters EPNS for Electro-Plate(d) silver (.999 fine) over Nickel Silver base (non-precious metal alloy). Any additional maker mark (?) might lead to name of pattern. Full photos help...post at 640..X....sizing if possible.

It could look like e, cut-off P, small n, s...but we may need to re-check to make sure n is not an ampersand (&) in a firm name.
