Help with identifying metal

Hi everyone
I recently bought a brooch that i thought was French silver. I saw the diamond shaped mark and what a assumed was the boars head.
On further inspection i realise it isn’t silver but i cant seem to recognise the marks to make out what it is. The diamond shape looks like it has S at the top and bottom and 13 in the middle? This isn’t a mark i have managed to locate as they usually have initial and symbols in.

It is fairly heavy but doesn’t react to a magnet so maybe steel is out and the stones are paste.

I am wondering if it is chrome or other metal but don’t know if they would stamp non precious metals. I would appreciate you casting your knowledgable eyes over it.

Many thanks Amanda

Someone might know offhand what it is but your last pic is blurry and the photobucket logo is covering one of the marks

Many thanks for that
This is another go on another site. They are quite small marks but this is through the loop.
Fingers crossed

Thanks Trev
How did you do that please?
Didn’t have a problem with first lot (except for logo!) but the next site did them tiny. I did them as thumbnails for forum
Thanks

Defintely 800 silver. You are right about the boars head. The other mark is a makers mark though I don't know who the maker is. The piece is possibly plated in rhodium which was common midcentury and is when this piece dates from.

Yes that makes sense. I never thought of that.
Many thanks for the confirmation.
