Hi,
Excellent job with the images.
These are Soviet pieces. MHU (cyrillic letters MNZ) refers to the alloy that they are made of, copper, nickel, and zinc.
The 2-70 indicates the set price of 2 Ruble - 70 Kopecks for the item.

Then the value 2-70 for fork and 2-80 for knife.
Which gives about 5 under each item. 1/20 Canadian dollar.
Do you have an idea of the year? It's Soviet yes, but under the reign of the Soviet Union or after. The knife handle and the whole fork have a silver patina. Is this normal for MHU parts. The knife blade looks like stainless! Is it possible. The inscriptions on the knife blade seem different ?? !!!
