Puzzling Mark on Engagement Ring - European, Possibly 1930s Polish

Hello all;
I am hoping one of you might be able to help me identify the markings on this ring:
It appears to show a w, a helmet facing the right, and a 3. I have very little information about it beyond that the ring is thought to be of European origin and that the head piece is thought to be from the 1910s. So far, I have struggled to identify the mark on my own, despite some considerable searching effort -- no doubt, a byproduct of my being new to these things. My best guess is that it is a 1930s era Polish mark, but I am uncertain and am hoping one of you may have a better eye than I do.
Thank you very much for any help you might be able to provide!
