That's a very interesting list. GWC Hartford was a retailer of jewelry & watches but I can't find any retailer marks for them. I would think that they would use their last name on their mark and they are not listed as dealing in silver wares, but the initials make it a possibility. The only silversmiths I can find are George Washington Chatterton and George W. Cook(e), but they both used their last names on their marks as far as I can tell.
