Help identifying RC mark on French cutlery (84)

Kindly asking for your assistence in identifying the maker's mark on this presumably French or Belgian cutlery. It has the 84 stamp on the right side of the pieces, flanked by a square maker's mark reading what I believe is "R.C" beneath a ball/globe/balloon of some sort. In some pieces, it looks like the letters are "R.I.C" although the I could also be some kind of stem, and the globe forms a tree, or a balloon with a rope beneath it. I haven't been able to find any reference to this mark. The pattern, too, I haven't been able to locate. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just added as a reference for search engines. The words are common to descriptions of French Maker marks with symbols that accompany the initials. Your two letters did not come up in a quick look for entries on platers associated with "a flower" symbol.

I have searched quite extensively, without result unfortunately. I am inclined to believe it might be Risler & Carré, Paris - although their sign features a star in their sterling hallmark and not a globe.
The French silver hallmark library of silvercollection.it features an entry for a French silversmith René Coutin - whose hallmark was an initials RC with "un ballon" (a balloon) which corresponds to this hallmark. Unfortunately, there are no pictures included, so I can't validate this belief. I'll guess I have to keep on searching
