Luen Wo Matchbox Cover - Unknown artisan

This is my first piece of Luen Wo. Although small, still very excited. The repousse work achieved on his pieces is always lovely with a real depth and warmth to it. This piece with chrysanthemums is 40 mm x 60 mm x 20 mm. Even the background of the chrysanthemums has been given a mottle effect. Perhaps a little over designed but then that is what I like about Luen Wo. Instantly recognisable as Chinese Import.
I understand he used a number of artisan workers to help create his pieces including Ning Zhao Ji, considered the best. This is not by him - not his mark - but I would like to know if anyone can shed light on the other mark.
Regarding the date. As this piece does not have the "Shanghai" mark, would this narrow it down to a particular time. There seems to have been enough room for it to be included on the base.
