Hello
The object is a Danish Modern style Ice Bucket, a very simple design, silver or silverplate (I don't know) with wooden handles. Heavy substantial piece. Marked with CC in crown, a symbol I cant recognize, the initials FDG, then the letter P and DENMARK. Very grateful for any help in identifying.

Hello, the P is for Plet (plated). Can't help with the maker, sorry. Best wishes, Bahner

Hi, I believe that is the silverplate mark used by Carl Cohr of Fredericia.

Hello,
this is my first posting as a member of this Forum. I collect and research Cohr silver, and I have access to Cohr's archives in Fredericia, Denmark.
The letters CC in a crown is not Cohr. Cohr's trademark for silverplate was ATLA (from 1926). The FDG-torch is a quality mark for silverplate. Please see my new Cohr Silver page
http://www.cohrsilver.dk/cohr/index.htm
I'm researching the CC mark, but no results yet. I think there's two possible makers, Carl Frederik Christiansen, Herlev (Copenhagen) or C.C. Christiansen, Randers.
best regards,
Henrik Olsen

Hendrik,
Many thanks for the correction. Great page on Cohr marks, glad you shared it with us. Have you only documented his marks, or are there pages on other silversmiths?
Regards, Tom

I have only documented the Cohr marks but I plan to document other silversmiths from Fredericia, Denmark. I started researching and collecting Cohr, when I worked with and registered the Cohr archives some years ago.
