I have a set of 6 miniature tea glasses with pewter holders. Each holder is marked with slightly different combinations of symbols some of which appear on more than one holder. I believe one of the markings on multiple holders is the lower case n from Sheffield 1905. Any assistance in identification would be appreciated.

Apologies - looks like a made a number of mistakes on my first posting - including in the wrong folder, and possibly off topic.

Your glass holders are German silver by Neresheimer of Hanau. See https://www.925-1000.com/Fgerman_hanau_marks_01.html.

Thanks Phil - very helpful!
I am curious to know why each holder in the set has a different combination of marks.

There was no law demanding standardization of Hallmarks in the Hanau region of Germany during the late 19th century. ::: Sometimes the Hanau marks seem to deliberately mimic antique hallmarks from other countries, including France and Portugal, in an attempt to create a new object that looks like it was make 100 years prior. :::
