Below is what I have found so far:
ITEM DETAILS: This calling card tray was given to my husband's grandmother from her cousin, Kate Coon Bovey. The initials on the tray "CCB" may be the initials of Kate Coon Bovey.
Engraved on the front is "THE BELLMAN CCB". CCB may be the initials for Engraved on the edge of the base: Gorham Hallmarks LOGO: (lion facing right, anchor, G from 1853) "STERLING 1 T P".
Engraved on the opposite edge: "SPAULDING & CO. CHICAGO".

• MANUFACTURER: Spaulding & Co.
• LOCATION: Chicago, IL and Paris
• DATE: ? 1914 per internet site, silvercollection it. "Spaulding & Co. Chicago, IL - founded in 1888. The Gorham Manufacturing Co. was a part owner from the firm's inception and a full owner from the 1920's until 1943, the firm was named Spaulding-Gorham Inc. during these years. From 1943-1973 it again operated as Spaulding & Co. "
According to the chart online, the LOGO was used during the 20th century. Please view the images for condition and ignore the glare in the pictures.
• CONDITION: Good condition for age. Could use additional polishing.
