Who is the Vienna Silversmith

Hi
Hope someone can help identify the Vienna silversmith, this was imported in 1922 to london from Vienna im just not sure who the silversmith is, any help would be much appriciated

Hi Mandy,

Can you post an image of the import marks also? Some importers were recorded as dealing with particular foreign firms and sometimes working backwards can lead to a more positive identification.

Rudolf Souval, Wien, VII. Siebensterngasse 23 (1910-1917) (Neuwirth, Wiener gold- und silberschmiede ind ihre punzen 1867-1922)

Military badge sites indicate Rudolf Souval lived 1819-1899. The firm survived under new ownership and continued on in the field of militaria. Last reports circa 2008 (see photo of known shop) engaged in corporate pins type wares. [Photos posted openly on net...delete if in any violations.]
