Hello all! I am brand new to the forum but I figured this is great community to be apart of because I deal with antique silver a good bit and I am NOT as knowledgeable as id like to be. I just came across this meat skewer here which I believe is from 1901. If any of my information is wrong please correct me!
Going down the list of hallmarks:
WC - Not sure who this maker is which is why im here haha
Lion passant
Crowned leopard for the london essay office
Lowercase b - 1901
George III head
And than there is a bird with a crown on the other side. Measures 12"
So im basically looking to know if the information I have is correct, and if anybody can tell me for sure who the maker WC is. And also if anyone recognizes the bird and the crown on the opposite side. Thank you so much in advance! -Brian
