I acquired this piece at auction awhile back but set it aside because I knew nothing about it. I think someone thought it might be a chocolate sauce pot. Handles appear to be ebony or some other dark hardwood. I cleaned it and then noticed a mark which appears to be DEZ but not sure. The first two pics are of possible marks but not sure. Need some help please with id of form and origin/maker.
