2 unknown silver marks on this cup

I have received several silver objects.
Of some I can discover who the maker is or from which country they come.

But with some objects this doesn’t work.
Like with this cup.
There are only 2 marks on it.
I can’t find out what country these are from.
So I hope I'm posting this in the right thread.
I also don't know the silversmith or when the cup was made.
Can someone help me out?

Hi,
It was made in Ottoman empire.See here:
https://www.925-1000.com/foreign_marks7.html

They started using Tughra (Sultan`s caligraphy monogram) around 1840.
There is number 90 in Arabic on the right indicating .900 fineness.
Official Ottoman Turkish differs from modern Turkish close to 90%, besides, modern Turks cannot read Arabic letters.
All being said, it`s almost impossible to identify the maker unless an expert is involved (a museum curator - specialist in Ottoman silver).
Regards

Hello, compare here

My answer wolud be pretty much the same, except this time the tugra mark is not punched well enough to identify the reigning sultan. This could be very rougly dated to the years 1844-1918, Beware of forged Ottoman marks. Regards, Bahner
