Kentucky - Virginia coin silver

Coffin-handled teaspoon partial mark ending in "sett" with eagle cartouche. I am look for a matching mark.

I think what looks like TSETT is actually a corrupted SSETT, so have a look at BASSETT Albany NY here:

The eagle neck looks right and even the "E" turns down at the outer top.

Note: Thorn (1949) held like rectangle mark to be that of Francis Bassett New York NY circa 1774. WEV's project notes an earlier Francis Bassett having no mark sample. I think the Federal eagle should be enough here to credit N.B., but it might be worth waiting for further confirmation or concensus.

Thanks. I'm sure you're right. We were hoping for Blansett, given where we're from, but no such luck.
