italian 925 wine cup/bowl marked "FI" for fierenze / florence - post1968 lozenge with star - official makers number 1046 - there is an additional mark possibly makers own appears to be an italy map inc scicily & sardinia in shape of stylised boot.
any ideas of maker - seems hammered with gordon grooves weight about 35gms
i have found other FI marks of close sequence that all appear to date from 1980s

is there anywhere i could look up the makers number. i have not been able to locate any trace of a register of mark owners/users except your very good site where you have listed many but even that that is not comprehensive it is the very best i have come across
