Silver Gold Jade Ring. Unknown modern maker

Can anyone identify the maker of this ring. I also need help with the last symbol on the hallmark as I cannot identify it. I have established it is London 1988 - although not very clear, it cannot be the letter O for 1969 as it has the 925 control mark which came into effect from 1976. It is silver with an 18 caret gold bezel and a pale green jade cabochon. Thank you as always.

It looks more like 2013 to me. Interesting that it seems to have both a sterling silver hallmark and an 18 carat gold hallmark. I haven't seen that before. Sorry, I don't know what the last mark is. Neither can I identify TR.

Hi Greg,

Can you capture a better image of that last mark? If not, can you describe what you see?

Hi Trev.

I managed to get a closer (better?) image. If I look long enough it appears to be a man on horseback. Or it could be an elephant and sometimes a gorilla!! The image is in a house like shape. Cheers.

I have contacted the Goldsmiths company and requested TR registration so at least I will hopefully find out who made it.

SOLVED!

The piece was made by Timothy Roe of Chichester. The Timothy Roe assay mark includes the Chichester Cross. They are the only jewellers in the country allowed to use the mark at all assay offices.

The man who made this ring tells me it is Silver and Gold with an Aquamarine Cabochon.

Many thanks to the Goldsmiths company who traced the mark for me.
