An opportunity to explore one of the most successful industrial partnerships in Sheffield William & Samuel Butcher.
The company made a much wider range of products than many other Sheffield firms specialising in edge tools, files, razors, besides pocket cutlery, scissors and Bowie Knives. The legacy of the Butcher company lives on in the restored Butcher Works 72 Arundel Street now the home of Freeman College and residential flats.
