Sorry Guys and Gals - I thought I knew what I was doing - But I have never had to list photo's this way before - Should have done what they said and read the rules and instructions first - My bad! Sorry for wasting some of your time. I think I got it now but can't see how to erase posts and start over? I'm old give me a break! The purse was attached to chatelaine or worn on finger.

They were popular throughout Victorian period, even later but before WW II.

Thanks I will take a look - But I still need to find out the manufacturer before I can do much.

"Wilmot" was the retailer of the piece, not the manufacturer. There were numerous of that name working as jewelers and fancy goods merchants along the eastern seaboard at the turn of the 19th century and in to the 20th. Given the lettering of both marks, I would say the 1920s was likely.
