Hi everyone.
I am a new member. I need help with this item i have. I havent got a clue where its from, when it was made, or who made it. All I can see is the numbers 925 (I think this means silver) And initials GS and a P.
It also has a serial number. Hopefully someone out there will be able to help.
Many thanks
Kim

You are correct in saying the 925 mark means your watchcase is sterling silver. The mark to the right of it is a London import mark that has been used since 1906. The GS mark was used by British importer George Stockwell since 1907. Don't know how long he was in business. The P would be the London date mark, but I can't see it very well. Might be for 1930, not sure. Don't know who made the watch.

Check on the date marks here:

Thank you very much Pat. That has really helped a lot. I looked at the date stamp and it was made in 1910.

Kind regards
Kim
