Hi, I am trying to see <forbidden - removed by moderator> and what exact year it was manufactured?

I am completely new to silver plated antiques(?), so if this is not the place to ask these sort of questions, please point me in the right direction.

Hi Phil, I appreciate such a patient and nice response considering I didn't read what I should have! I am currently re-doing the images and will post again. Should I delete these posts and start brand new ones? Thank you :)

Thank you for persevering, Gillian. Unfortunately, with very few exceptions, it is not possible to date electroplate with any accuracy. Some manufacturers, notably Elkington & Co of Birmingham, developed their own private date coding system. There is evidence for MH&Co using such a system but we do not have a key to it and furthermore it has not been used on your sugar bowl and creamer. The lettering around the MH&Co shield reads EPGS which stands for ElectroPlated German Silver. German Silver is an alternative name for nickel silver, a base metal alloy. The name "German Silver" fell out of favour in the UK at the time of the First World War so we can be sure that your pieces date from earlier than about 1914.
