This spoon has the name J E Caldwell & Co., but I'm trying to determine if they made it or were just the retailer of it. I'd like to know the maker and year it was made as I'm trying to track down which of my ancestors it may have belonged to.

The maker of the spoon is Gorham, the pattern is Jefferson and it was first introduced in 1907.
