Based upon the Jeopardy Categories on this firms current website...Fruitbowl constructed of marble and sterling silver. Held together with flathead screw (odd in the era of phillips heads) and sized 12 1/2" extreme diameter x 4 1/2" base-to-rim in height. This piece carries only two marks in addition to the name. The first looks like the .925 may be contained within an elephant form cartouche (?). The second mark is unknown based on two vertical lines bordered by two vetically placed dots. Other items from this maker seem to have a third mark, being a letter undefined in meaning...date codes? Production in silver apparently began around 1991 and continues current. Aside from the marks, does this item seem to have a Northern European Modernist influence? [They hired outlanders to get their factories going according to the site history section.]
