The maker is Dmitry Ivanovich Gubkin (Дмитрий Иванович Губкин - Д.И.Г.).

One of two sons of GUBKIN Ivan Semyonovich: Сергей and Дмитрий (Sergey and Dmitry).Court supplier since 1855.The company participated in exhibitions: 1861 in St. Petersburg, 1862 in London.

Ivan Gubkin had 5 sons. Mikhail Ivanovich was the first of them to head the factory after his father's death.
