Tea Tongs c.1760 - One mark

Hi all,
I've tentatively put these Tea Tongs around 1760 and London. The pear shaped finger rings are unusual and there is a period initial on the hinge. There is only one mark on one of handles and I'm trying work out if it's:
a) Partial Thomas Jackson I makers Mark (Extended mark with horse above initials)
b) A Lion passant
c) A provincial mark or something else
Interested to hear people's thoughts. Tried rotating the mark an attempt to make some sense of it.
Many thanks
Simon
