Looking for any information that may be given about this spoon. It has both a female and a ship name on the front of the handle. The maker's initials if that's what they are look like "LS" to me. It is about 21.5cm or 8 1/2" long and weighs 51g. Thank you in advance. Image

Might anyone know which countries marked their flatware at the tip of the back of the handle with the maker's initials and and the silver quality indicator like this one?

While I can't help you with the marks just yet, as a Dutchman I can guarantee that Lieselotte is definately Dutch in origin, so as a starting point, I would narrow the scope of the search to the Netherlands and Flanders.

Lieselotte could be Dutch but I believe to see the mark 13 for 13 lot. The lot system points to Germany/Nordic region.
Lieselotte is a German girl name. It means 'consecrated to God'
Peter.
